Variants of Gleason Pattern 5 (part 1)

 

間質浸潤する索状　および/または　孤存性の細胞は、GP5としては最も一般的である。細胞学的特徴を検討する事はGleason分類には含まれてないが、これらの癌細胞の核は未成熟に見える。

時折、小さくて低倍率では簡単に見逃してしまうことがある。また、前立腺間質において短棒状な線維芽細胞または組織球に似ることがある。
