GP3とGP4の間の境界線をどこに引くのか？

 

前立腺癌のグレーディングにおいて重要な問題点の1つとして、部分的に高異型度の癌のように見える構造所見をどのように解釈するかである。

 

見かけ上は融合した腺管と見かけ上は不十分に形成された腺管が、よく分化した腺管の間に見られる、特に細胞学的特徴を共有する場合、接線方向に切られたアーチファクトとして無視すべきである。

対照的に、接線方向に切ったことにより引き起こされる可能性が低いようなクラスター構造は、GP4として十分考えるべきである。
