Variants of Gleason Pattern 5 (part 2)

 

Solid sheets of epithelium is less commonly seen. Do not mistake spaces with apoptotic bodies for lumina. The sheets may occasionally have small rosett-like spaces which is still acceptable as GP5.

 

Solid sheets of cancer cells in GP5. There are a few rosette-like spaces which may occur in GP5.
